Delighted with the new lamps in our lounge. The standard light is sleek and smart. With three bulbs we are using 2.5 watts so that there is a relaxing warm atmosphere. Only drawback was the top nut during assembly which was difficult to remove.

Very disappointed, bought as a house warming gift for my daughter. After three days use the lamp blew the electric. All three bulbs changed, tried different sockets but lamp dead

I do like the style of this floor lamp and it does afford a very good light using the 4w bulbs suggested but……as other reviewers have commented, it is a bright, rather brash, gold colour -certainly not an antique gold as in the product description or photograph. I intend to stand the floor lamp behind a sofa, very little of the stem will be visible, so the colour won’t be too much of a problem but I wouldn’t consider purchasing matching table lamps. Although well packaged for delivery, the shade arrived with dusty handprints on it which had to be sponged off. Despite the moans, it has to be said this item is sold at an excellent price.
