I really like the fit of this brand . Very good quality and smart and comfortable for whatever you want to do. I always size up for leggings from a size 12 to a size 14 . Also the length is great for my 5ft 3in frame .

I ordered the blue ones and I love the colour!! I also ordered them because they come up when searching under 'running ' leggins. The description also says they are great for any activity. Sadly they are poor for running . They have no mesh in the back for cooling the legs and gather behind the knees. I know they day gym leggins but they also come under the running section in the search. I would have returned them but have tested them on a run. Please M&S, take them out of the running options when people search

I love everything about these gym leggings, which I have in the blue/white colourway, except the width at the ankle, which is quite narrow compared to some of my older GoodMove gym leggings. Hence the 4☆ review. The high waist is excellent and adjustable and I sized up for a more relaxed fit, which works well. Please offer gym leggings in more fun colourways - they cheer everyone up!

Sizing!!
Ordered 14 and 16 going on previous reviews. At 5ft 9in the length should have been OK. 14 were very short more or less cropped and quite small overall. Stuck with the 16 - which are still a bit short .. could do with them in a long length!!

Gym leggings
I found that these generally fit well, are a good length and are good quality. As other reviewers have mentioned they are very narrow at the ankle, so not as easy as some to get your foot through. I also found that the waist comes a bit high for me so that the waist tie is not at the narrowest point and they can slip down slightly at the crotch.

I got this in purple and I have loved it. It’s got a sort of jungle design (more like leopard & palm trees, I don’t know how to describe it) to it that’s kind of subtle so as to blend in. It’s now showy at all so I like it. It’s very stretchy and was the perfect length for me (I’m 5’9 so this may be too long if shorter). It’s got a drawstring so I can tie it to fit my waist with no fear of roll downs. I did go a size up as other commenters had mentioned M&S leggings with designs are usually sized smaller and it fits me well so I love that. Don’t have anything negative to say about this particular one.

They roll down and the zip on the back pocket broke on the first wear. Think because it was too small to fit my phone. They are wearable but I won't be buying these again.
