No, I don't recommend this
I complained to M&S about this bed frame being too big for the mattress I also purchased. Customer service sent a furniture technician to take measurements and I was told there wasn’t a problem and the case has now been closed. Please see attached Photos

new bed
the bed is lovely it looks lovely and with our new matress on it is lovely and cosy the only downside is the corners at the bottom of the bed kept catching when you pass by it and it was quite painful so we bought some plastic pads and stuck them on the corners now it is good

Good quality I have had one before and decided to get another for my other room. The only difference is - the slates are not as good quality and linked together. Then only some of them are screwed down. I preferred the previous one , where they were individually screwed down and a much sturdier construction and better quality wood. But I am still happy - it is a guest bed so not in use every day.

I am extremely pleased with this bed, it looks good and is light enough to move in order to clean underneath, the choice of colours it came in makes a pleasant change from brown. Overall I would recommend this inexpensive bed.

Beautifully made bed, so neatly painted and not difficult to put together. Excellent delivery service and they made one of the beds up for us in very quick time. Other family members have beds from this range. The green in particular is a beautiful colour.

I have just had this bed delivered and assembled. The bed looks great even better than picture.I have not used the bed yet but wanted to say how impressed I was with the delivery service. The two delivery men arrived promptly and did an excellent job assembling the bed. I am just sorry that I do not have their names to add to the review. Thank you very much.

Reading some of the reviews from this range I was slighlty nervous about what we would receive We bought 3 items from the Hastings range when M & S had an offer ,the bed being one of the items. It arrived in perfect condition which is what you would expect . It is great quality, very sturdy and looks great in the bedroom . From initial ordering we were kept informed by M & S and the deilivery guys were spot on.
