Take a break build

I am on the 2nd half of building diagon alley build and it’s a very detailed build and I am also installing lights to it as well. The owlrey was a perfect build to step away from all the tiny pieces of the diagon ally set and just enjoy building with some pretty cool features you find during the build.

Bought it for 7 year old grandson. Have not seen it made up. It said age 8+ but I am sure with a bit of help he will enjoy building it.

The set does not have a lot of interior space for figures making it more a display piece than a play set.

First ever Lego set - brilliant!

This is the first ever Lego set I've ever built at the grand old age of 25, and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Partway through building, you'll see the face of an owl (which is then hidden by other bricks), and I couldn't stop smiling! I would highly recommend this to anyone, regardless of age.

A Uniquely Perfect Build

From all of the Spring Wave sets, this was one that I had no interest in getting and I was surprised. The building itself feels minimal and basic like previous Hogwarts expansions, but the entire build feels so strong and complete. There are some tedious building techniques that aren't great and I wish we had at least 6 owls in this set, but it's a pretty good set. I still prefer Hagrid's Hut and the Boathouse to this though.

The build looks simple enough, but also there’s enough pieces that will keep you busy for a bit. The packaging is a simple box. I’m super excited to gift this to my sister in law who’s a big Harry Potter fan!

My 6 yr old built this over a couple of days. It has many cool features with the face of an owl built into the structure and rotating owl perches. The various owls reflect those in the books and he recognised the Cho, Harry and Filch scene from the story. Great set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the cutest little set! My daughter had the best time putting it together. It was easy, and the instructions were so detailed that there was no room for error. The little figures are so adorable! I would highly recommend this for any kid or adult. We will be sticking this on the bookshelf next to our boxed set. This is not for small children as it can be a choking hazard.

Nice and tall with great details

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved putting together his Lego Hogwarts Castle Owlery. It was an easy build for him, but he is 12 and a longtime Lego enthusiast. He had no pieces missing and extra pieces were leftover (which is typical for Lego). This might be my favorite set to date, mostly because of the adorable owls! This is a great set as usual, and it’s nice and tall - so it makes a visual impact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and husband love putting together legos…it’s one of their favorite father daughter activities and this one was one of their favorites to put together! We all love watching Harry Potter so they enjoyed putting the castle together. It was easy for my 9 year old to follow the directions and wasn’t too complicated. Came with the cute owl and the main characters. Safe and fun activity!

I'm an adult collectors of Lego and one of the most enjoyable areas of Lego for me is still the Harry Potter sets. They get better and better. I've been collecting the castle parts for a while and I think along with the Boathouse set this Owlery set really makes the difference when added to the Hogwarts castle. While building this I noticed the form of an owl appear on the first floor which was quite clever and it makes you smile when there's little things like that added in builds and you know it was designed with passion and a lot of attention to that Owlery scene. As it is stated, this is based on the scene where Harry plucks up the courage to ask Cho to the ball in The Goblet Of Fire but what I like is the fact that the Cho minifigure has got that simple sorry facial expression printed so perfectly, her face really makes that scene so I felt like I had to keep mine that way. There is a lot of dark, gloomy and emotional scenes in the Goblet of Fire but this is probably one of the nicer builds to come from that film. It's got a really clever design and looks smart standing on it's own though I've fixed it to an old raised base so mine looks taller and added some extra winter scenery from the advent calendar. I love it though. I'm really glad this set was introduced. Thanks again.
