Dive into a mindful building project packed with style with this LEGO® Vespa 125 model kit for adults. Inspired by the classic 1960s Vespa Piaggio, it comes in pastel blue – a very rare LEGO colour that’s sure to appeal to building fans. To celebrate Vespa’s 75th anniversary, the LEGO designers have worked closely with the lifestyle brand to recreate this stunning model in an immersive build, especially for adults. Like the original, this buildable model Vespa features a front wheel mounted on one side, 2 seats, a removable engine cover with a brick-built engine beneath, a functioning kickstand, plus working steering. Finishing touches include the Vespa logo, a classic 1960s Italian licence plate, a spare wheel, a helmet, plus an accessories basket including a flower bouquet on the back.

Need More Sizes/Colors

I loved building this Vespa. It doesn’t have a ton of playability but I make Lego to display not play. I wish there were other sizes and colors. I do have the tiny red Vespa but I wouldn’t mind a size between the two.

Obsessed

I love this product. I bought this with some vouchers I received for Christmas and birthday and I think it's such a cute addition. Some parts were fiddly to put together and I had to redo some of it as it came apart during building, but now its all together it looks great on my shelf! :)

Bad build

I've built about 45 Lego sets including about 10 icons. This is the only set I haven't completed. It was very frustrating. I finally gave up. The further I got the worse it became. I may go back to it but not likely. I wish I could just return it.

The entire model is poorly conceived. The assemblies are extremely fragile - definitely not something that can be played with. Could have been so much better.

I really enjoyed building this Vespa. It made me think of sunny days in the countryside. I would like to do another but this seems to be the only one.

I bought this set and was expecting it to be a good well built set, but after I finished building it the set would keep falling apart anytime I tried to move it or touch it

What started it all!! I got this to build while my grandson was working on a different build. I became addicted to LEGO!! This build was a little challenging as I feel like it is very delicate and if you touch it wrong parts will fall off. Even with these minor struggles I love the end product and feel like it was worth my time

Super cute but poor quality

This was such a cute set! The set does not hold together well and keep falling apart as I was building. I really wanted to like this but unfortunately this is one of my least favorite pieces. I would recommend if you have tons of patience and don’t mind repeating multiple steps over and over. Super cute though!

My experience with the Vespa 125
Originally posted on LEGO

The Vespa 125 is a great lego set, and I certainly had quite some fun building it. But then, why the 3-star rating? Because the slope that I was supposed to get, I got them combined into one piece. However, it was supposed to be used in the design of the build. And the Vespa's steering handle kept coming off every time I drove like, a meter. And when I was transporting it back home, it completely broke apart. But overall, I kind of like this set, even with the mistakes that it had.

I wish I read the reviews before buying for my partner for Christmas every time you attach a pies an earlier piece falls of very difficult to get the front steering column to stay in place and the front panels either side fall of with ease the cover over the engine keeps falling off it’s impossible to keep on and we found we was missing pieces and had to order replacement so my partner could build it I have read through the reviews to see people have had the same issue as my partner and I also have see legos response is to re build and make sure everything is in place witch my partner has done he has re built it double checking every single thing And still has the same issue so Lego it’s clearly the set that’s the problem and not the building so you need to re work the design

Best Value for Money Lego Set ever
Originally posted on LEGO

This is a relatively quick build, and the end product is definitely not 'playable', but it is without question one of the best looking Lego sets, and the value for money on this set is incredible. The build is in 5 bags IIRC and took about 3-4 hours total, which I spread over a weekend. It's not a particularly difficult build, although there are some challenges in terms of bits falling off etc. Longer term this also reduces the 'playability' of the finished product - though I suspect most people display it rather than play with it. And on display it is one of my favourite Lego items, probably up there with the Typewriter. It's surprisingly large in real life, which given the relatively low price makes it feel remarkably good value. I've also gifted this set a couple of times including to non-Lego fans, and it's always gone down really well.

Challenging build

When I say challenging, I mean due to some complex parts which the set has. I did struggle with parts falling off whilst trying to attach another part which was really frustrating at times. I did dismantle and start again as some parts just didnt seem right and the front wheel still doesn't seem to be secure but it is now complete and displayed with some other sets and its a gorgeous little vehicle. I love it.

Visually Stunning

The Vespa is a beautiful and detailed set that is great for any adult or teen. The 18+ age rating is there due to the fact that it is very delicate and has no real play features. The front wheel is too weak to roll around for any kids without breaking or bending. The color and stickers are pretty good but not 100% color matched. Not too many stickers to be annoying. The helmet and flower bouquet are beautiful and fun accessories. Make sure you are careful with where you hold the model as certain sections fall off easily. Great display piece.

Pretty but…

It’s beautiful but extremely flimsy. Be prepared to have the front fall apart when moving. Kickstand lifts front half up into the air when fully extended.

Awesome Details

I loved building this vespa, my father used to own one, so brought a lot of old Memories. Details on the vespa are amazing. A word of caution, it is not an easy build takes time and if you miss one spot/item than the scooter is not stable, I see a few people saying it falls apart- but if built properly it is very stable. This is a must for every lego builder.

I am very disappointment for this product, when I bought it the first time, it is missing 5 pieces, then i return the package for exchange, then again, missing 4 pieces ... this is horrible. I will not buy lego again, forget it.

Terrible

I thought this would be a fun build, it looked beautiful on the cover, but when i started to build it, it quickly became a chore. The pieces do not hold well together, it broke too many times to count and it was missing a few pieces. it’s very fragile overall that if you even touch it it’ll break. do not recommend unless you have the will and patience of a soldier

Lovely end product but flimsy!

This was the 9th lego kit I have built and must say it wasn't the most enjoyable experience. Things kept falling apart, flimsy. Had to redo some parts as they wasn't quite right. I have trouble building from the book, I prefer the building app because the pieces are more clearer I am pleased with the finished product so was worth the stress!
