Care-Keep your orchids away from fruit bowls-fruit emits ethylene and will shorten their life. Keep it away from heat sources and draughts. Never let your orchid sit in water for a long time

Please prune the spent flowers. If your orchid seems to be unhappy no matter what you do, it might like to live in a different room. Keep your orchids moist by adding two ice cubes to the pot each week

When your orchid has finished flowering, prune the stem above the lowest node. It helps it to bloom again. To keep leaves lustrous, give them a light misting from time to time

Position- Natural light on a north, east or west facing windowsill is best, out of direct sunlight

I’ll let you tomorrow! The orchid was a gift to my fabulous granddaughter who has just moved to her first home! I bought this as a gift last year and bought it again this year for someone else. Unfortunately the plant is very poor compared to last years. Barely. ‘Cascade’ and the moss/sticks are sparse compared to last year. At £60 I expect better. Disappointed with this and won’t be gifting it as I’d be embarrassed.

An enticing picture but sadly the one that arrived was half dead. Cones of flowers dead and a yellowed leaf. Contacted Customer Services and they sent a replacement the next day which was a very different plant. How can quality control allow an expensive dying plant to be sent out
