Mystery Premium Red Mixed Case - Case of 6

Rather than carry heavy bottles home I have ordered this mixed case in the past and have had differing results though nothing totally unacceptable, and I enjoy trying something that I haven't had before. HOWEVER my latest order was for 2 cases. One case was ok in content but the second was an utter disgrace. Three of the bottles were valued instore at £5, one at £5.50, one at £6.50 and the other at £7. Absolutely nothing like the £10 minimum cost per premium bottle advertised. £51 for bottles I could have bought in store for £34I cant even return the case as they are non returnable. I contacted customer service and did get an apology with the promise they would look into the delivery, however nothing since. If you don't mind carrying your own bottles home then I would suggest you are best buying in store.

I bought this case of wine online to be delivered to my brother-in-law for his birthday. Apparently he is enjoying them very much.

Not what I expected. This wine was suppose to be worth £10 or more a bottle. When looking at M & S website it was being sold for less .

I should have paid attention to the other bad reviews. I thought surely M&S won't fob me off with old mulled wine and cheap bottles. I was wrong! I got a 3 year old £6.50 red that is best drunk within 12 months. I got a old mulled wine that needs using within 6 months (it's June). One bottled retails at £10 and the others were all £6-7. I have made a complaint. Avoid this so called deal, they are just sending out their leftovers and ripping people off. Mulled wine is not a premium red and none of the others are in the premium bracket.

Very happy with the reds tried so far, mellow and soft

I bought 4 boxes of this case stated to contain "6 premium reds, all worth at least £10". Nonsense! Out of my 24 bottles only 7 were valued at £10 or more - all the rest were under a tenner. The nadir was reached with a bottle of red mulled wine, on sale at M&S before Xmas at under a fiver! 2 of my 4 boxes contained no wines at all over £10! So steer clear, this is both a deception and bad value.

This case (sold at £51) was described as containing 6 premium reds all worth at least £10. There were only 3 different wines, currently being sold by M&S for £9, £8.50 or £7.50. I had been delighted with a previous mixed mystery case sold at £36 last autumn as it contained 6 different wines, one quite excellent. Unfortunately 5 of the wines in this case were also in that one

Excellent mystery 6 again. Really good including labels normally beyond our budget.

Although there were 2 great wines in the case, the other 4 were ones which we buy regularly & are often on offer at around £6

Very disappointed. I ordered two of these cases and was very excited to find out what was inside. The bottles arrived looking like old stock which could not be sold. All but one were marked and stained with wine. One had no label on at all and one bottle of wine turned out to be bucks fizz. I contacted customer service and sent photographic evidence. I was asked to return the bottles to the store for inspection. I pointed out that I had ordered a delivery as it is not always easy to get to the store and asked for them to be collected. To which I received the response 'please return to store'. Not very helpful. They have now been returned. I was very disappointed both in the presentation and content of the wine and online customer service. I would like to add that the staff in the store were brilliant

I saw the less than complementary reviews on this offer but thought it was potentially good so went for it. I am not disappointed. Let's be clear it's not great vintage wine, but a collection of very good wines. It did include a bottle of Amarone which is around £18 a shot. I am very satisfied.
