Pancake Treatz Playset (5+ Yrs)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cookeez Market S2 Pancake Treatz Playset is a unique toy. I like the pretend play aspect of a kitchen skillet and spatula to make a pretend pancake. I didn't love that the pretend pancake batter was a packet of slime, that once flipped, stays inside the skillet. The skillet makes fun sizzling cooking sounds. However, it is incredibly difficult to flip to reveal the kitty pancake plush - my 8 year old could not do it, and it took 2 adults trying to complete the flip. The kitty pancake plush is cute and makes fun sounds. The toy overall is neat and fun, but uses a lot of plastic for a one time surprise.

She formed the pancake with the slime then pushed the bottom and flipped the pancake and up popped a pancake plushie! The shock and wow factors are definitely there. However I gave this two stars because the quality of this plushie was terrible. The plushie was missing paws, had big holes where the paws were supposed to be and then my daughter picked it up and the only paw that came attached fell off. My daughter immediately started crying thinking she broke the toy in reality the quality control needs to step their game up on this toy!

Its standout feature is the element of surprise, which adds excitement to the play experience. The set is user-friendly, encouraging imaginative play. If your child is a fan of the magic mixie toys, they will be slightly less enthusiastic about this as it's not filled with all the great surprise elements as those toys. It's literally slime you put in a spot on the "pan" and a button press. The batteries don't last long enough for multiple uses. It was a 1 and done.

It had a very fun and educational aspect of it when reading through the pamphlet and there was safety precautions and warning as well for the small pancake dough. The actual pancake puppy toy smelled so good and my kids loved the sound effects this toy makes and it kept them very entertained

The plush is also interactive and makes sounds and reactions. There is also a batter that is to be poured and mixed too. Overall this is a very scented toy but my little ones love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an interesting toy. I can’t say this is going to be one that will be played with a lot after today but it was fun for the afternoon. The first thing we noticed was the smell. It’s a very scented toy so I would be aware of that if you are sensitive to smell. It is a cute plush that comes with the frying pan. The “pancake” is basically just slime. I personally don’t like my kids playing with slime so we just pretended. This is kind of like a jack-in-the-box and my daughter is having fun flipping in and putting it back underneath. The instruction booklet has clear instructions and there is even a qr code to scan that takes you to electronic versions with many different languages. The plush itself also makes noises. I don’t think this is something that will be played with a lot, but for an afternoon it’s fun. Cute for a gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is horrible don't waste your money on it. It's too complicated to use, and once you get the stuff toy out, the rest of the thing is useless. You get slime you can't store after you take it out of the packet.

It's very well made, manuals are very simple and it's easy to set up the fun by children themselves. So much fun and lough! I'm not sure how long this excitement will last but I have a younger daughter who will definitely enjoy playing it as well. It's very original and unique toy. 10/10
