I bought this cake for my husbands birthday. He is gardening daft and it was perfect. Also it was able to be personalised which was perfect. Had read in reviews that chocolate wall had softened. That didn’t happen with us at all. He was really tickled with it and said the carrots tasted yummy ! Perfect, well done M&S

The decoration of the cake was beautiful. It was lovely and moist. My only criticism would be was that they didn’t provide a cake bag, the box was quite big and for £65 I then had to spend an additional £2.50 on a bag !

This cake was amazing. Great for my retired gardener father’s 80th Birthday. Very moist and tasty. Large servings to make up the 20 serves as advertised. The only down side is the chocolate plaque. Followed all instructions on how to store. It was in its hotel setting for approx 20 minutes and softened to a point that it wouldn’t stand up and made the surprise reveal rather tricky- had to held up for the back.

Excellent cake ordered for a 60th birthday. Collected in store and the cake was available on time and very well packaged. Both the cake and the icing/buttercream filling were delicious. Not overly sweet and full of flavour. Decorations were also good with the greetings board packaged separately in the box so could be positioned on the cake when unpacked.
