Great Jacket, Rubbish Personalisation
No, I don't recommend this
I had been looking for a varsity type jacket for ages so was chuffed to find this. The colours are nice, the quality of the material also seems very good; but unfortunately the initial is very poor. Noone can tell that it is actually meant to be an initial, let alone which one. So disappointed. Wish I had read the reviews first as it appears that it isn't just ours....

Good quality jacket and was really pleased with it, trouble is it is enormous for the age it’s supposed to fit so will have to keep it until my grandson has grown quite a bit, can’t return it as it has his initial on it, not that that is that recognisable, and they have removed all the labels, don’t know why they would need to do that just to personalise it and they could have included them in the bag , not very happy about that as it doesn’t look as if I have just bought it ! It’s good buying online as more choice than in our pathetic stores in Coventry but I don’t like some of the disadvantages!

Illegible Initials.

The letters which were one of the main reasons for getting the jacket were unreadable. The one initial you could just about read as an L. The other, an F totally illegible, if anything it looked like a J . The jackets are lovely but if you want an initial be prepared not to be able to read it.

Just a rubbish jacket, no tags either
Shocking is the only word 2 describe this jacket, no tag on it, wrong sizing , plus could not get my money back, i waited 6 weeks for it as well, and iv shopped at M&S for years

colour options were great and the added touch of the monogram. the Letter is not so clear for a child but they get the concept and they like it. He wore it, by his own choice, the next day in front of all his friends so, that's a vote of YES!

Initial is unclear
Having an initial on jacket for personalisation would expect letter to be clear and easily identified as a C (in this case) for child to recognise start of their name. The C looks like some kind of Egyptian symbol and I was disappointed after looking forward to showing the young child concerned that his name started with this letter. Some of the example lettering on website looks okay but I wouldn’t recommend unless website improved options to show you each letter or option to select from few fonts.
