Petite Waterproof Oversized Longline Parka Coat

After realising that I could actually wear my correct size I am very pleased. The parka covers my legs when I am sat in my wheelchair. Thankyou.

Waterproof and trendy in black but you have to go a size down!

Really need a size 6 but have waited ages and had to settle for an 8

I just LOVE this coat. I didn't think it would be warm...lightweight yes! Yet it's comfortable and looks good. But I wasn't expecting warm. It's incredibly cosy! I wore it in Scotland and felt warm. I feel it would be light enough for those dull London days in Summer too. Great buy.

This is a fantastic Parka coat but the sizing is way out. I am normally 16/18 in M&S but I ordered a 16 sent back I skiped the 14 and opted for the 12 still too big so I have now got a size 10 Petite, I am 5ft. Think it is a bit on the pricey side but in my opinion it is a smart stylish coat it is lightweight. May even treat myself to the Black one. I only gave 4 stars because of the sizing and price

First things first. I absolutely love this garment but only purchased it when offered in petite sizing. Had already tried on in usual normal sizing but had instantly dismissed purchasing as I’m only 5ft in height and it looked ridiculously huge on me. Shoulder width, arm length, hem length etc etc. Now, when it came to trying on in petite sizing…well, what a difference! Fitted as it should. Loved it. Instant purchase. IM&S, please do offer more clothing in petite sizing. I guarantee you’ll make us shorter ladies very happy. As for the garment itself, it’s decent quality (been out shopping in heavy rain and stayed bone dry), it’s stylish and it’s relatively easy to roll up in a tote bag or suitcase “just in case”. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me. The only reason I’ve knocked off a star is that I feel it’s a tad overpriced. I think a price of £75 or thereabouts would be more appropriate and would likely tempt me to purchase a second one in a different colour.

This is potentially a great mack but it comes up very big, even when you buy a smaller size. It didn’t suit me unfortunately, so I returned it.

I love this Parka coat but had to buy 3 different sizes until I got it right. Like others say it's really large ( I am normally a 16- 18 but a petite 10 was still roomy for me). I do think M&S will end up with lots of large sizes- so grab a small size while you can.

I bought this in black. It is light in weight (but with room for layering), comfortable, stylish and very practical, with an inside zip pocket that will accommodate a standard sized phone. I need a petite fit as I'm only 5'2" and this falls mid-calf. I just wish M&S would do more petite clothing in larger sizes, especially as the sleeves and length of their regular sized clothing have become even longer than they used to be. I'm size 18-20 and I bought 18. I could have worn a 16 but I love the oversized fit, so the 18 is perfect. Given that this is waterproof (though I haven't tested this yet) it's good value compared to other similar coats on the market.

Well made good quality. There’s a chess pocket as well to keep all your keys a little precious things. It is oversized in a trendy cut if you have a dry rope, this will be similar to that in terms of fit. I am a 14/16 but I went for 12 to achieve an oversize look And I can still wear a jumper if needed. Thank you For previous reviews about the Sizing.

I am hoping this coat is going to be waterproof..otherwise it’s the perfect lightweight coat. Fits me very well. Sized down from 12/10. Could possibly have gone to an 8. It’s mid calf and I am 5ft3. 4stars as other items with this waterproof label from M+S on other reviews are not waterproof so keeping my fingers crossed.

I was so excited to find a waterproof jacket in a petite fit. I have wanted a lightweight one that was a good length for a long time and this one seemed perfect. Having read the reviews regarding size, I ordered a 6. It was like a tent on me. I am so disappointed as it is a quality item. Please M&S we need more stylish petite clothes like this, but if you are going to make them so loose, we will need sizes 0, 2 and 4 included.
