Pure Cotton Retreat Towel

I bought these towels and decided to stick with white. They are a lovely crisp white, I washed them first and they are nice and soft and I would recommend for the money. I bought hand towel and bath sheet.

I originally bought green towels from the M&S luxury range to replace my old M&S luxury towel, not because it had worn out but due to colour range. I bought my old one about 10 years ago! The new 'luxury' towel was not luxury at all as it was so thin and had to be returned. I ended up purchasing a green one from this range because they were on offer by then. I am pleased with it, although I do feel the quality has gone down over the years. M&S have always been my 'go to' for towels due to their excellent quality so I hope M&S quality isn't going to deteriorate and disappoint in the future.

These towels were good value in the sale and I bought them for use when family come to stay as they like a bath sheet where I prefer a bath towel.

These towels are lovely, quality is really nice, wash really nicely, would definitely recommend.

***M&S Pure Cotton Retreat Towels (Light Duck Egg colour)*** These are good quality bathroom towels. Described as 700 GSM but the Light Duck Egg colour shade is only 690 GSM), however the high GSM definitely shows and more importantly, feels! The sizing was good too - I purchased hand and bath size on this occasion. I only wish there were more colours to choose from in this towels range. There are currently only 6 and most of them are the usual - white, charcoal and grey. I purchased the remaining 3 shades: Petrol (lovely colour shade), Dark Green (lovely colour shade) and Blush Pink (this colour shade is nowhere near Blush Pink, not along Pink. It was more towards Mauve/Light Brown’ish colour shade. I kept the towels anyways as the colour shade wasn't that bad). In terms of the price, I purchased these towels when they were on offer, i.e., 40% off the original price. It was a bargain! But, even a full price, they are still cheap considering the quality. In overall, I would recommend these towels from this M&S bathroom towels range. Hopefully, M&S will add some more colour shades to it in a future. 😊

Very dense pile. Don't move. A bit solid for kitchen but luxury and I am hoping super absorbent for bathroom.
