British Pure Wool Double Breasted Wrap Coat

Fabulous coat warm but not heavy perfect length and great colours. Very well pleased with it. Would definitely recommend.

While this coat has a nice cut and attractive pattern, the material is quite light. For this price I would expect a more substantial wool and heavier coat. I can't see it being terribly warm despite it being made of wool. For those looking for a light winter coat I can see the attraction.

Beautiful coat tho not a heavyweight wool. I love the subtle tones in the check. The purchaser who got hers in a small box was actually lucky. Mine came in a plastic bag.

I took a long time to think about this purchase, being attracted by the classic style, pure wool fabrication, moody colours, check pattern and overall timeless look, but the price and practicality of it needed consideration. So far I haven’t been able to wear it as the weather has been unusually mild, but having tried it on a couple of times I think it is a keeper. I bought size 8 and although not oversized, it allows for winter weight layers underneath. The length is good on me (5 ft 7]. I notice that so often small sizes sell out fast across the range of clothing items which seems to have happened with this coat.

Lovely coat. The wool blend quality is evident and as other reviews have stated the matching checks are a must for the price point. I ordered the size 10 and I would say it is true to size with room for jumpers etc. My main issues were the coat arrived to store and came 'folded' into a tiny box, I wondered I'f they had given me the correct parcel! No protection / wrapper - shocking when you pay this much. I have also had to trim some loose threads from some of the seams which isn't ideal. As I benefited from a sparks discount code overall I am happy. If you can get your size and also purchase with a discount then even better and also if you are lucky enough to receive one direct from the warehouse and not a store to store item you will likely get it delivered in a more acceptable manner than my coat !

The price reflects the quality of this Jaeger coat. It is made from pure wool and is warm but also light to wear. I also ordered the M&S coat which was much cheaper but was made of polyester and was heavy and looked synthetic. I returned the M&S coat and kept the Jaeger coat as the quality of the material was worth the higher price.
