Luxury coat with fabric made in Britain
Yes, I recommend this
I love this coat, the fabric is made in the UK and beautiful. What a beautiful coat and I managed to get it in the sale. Brilliant this will be a wardrobe staple for many years to come. I love Jaeger well done M&S let have more UK cloth.

Excited to see pure wool again!
No, I don't recommend this
I was so excited to see a coat in pure wool and in the sale at a reasonable price with Jaeger brand. I tried very hard to love it but only got as far as quite liking it so sadly it was returned. Usually a 10-12 I snapped up the last size 12 in stock, however it wasn’t really a generous cut (although sleeves were quite long) and despite being 5’4” it wasn’t quite long enough, falling just between calf and ankle. The pattern match on the squares was very good but the fabric itself was a bit hard and thin - a bit like card board - and a little bit dull. I think generally the design and fabric just missed the mark - maybe a slightly more generous fit and larger collar would have compensated. It simply didn’t have the expensive wow factor.

Wonderful coat, beautifully light and warm
Yes, I recommend this
I dithered about this coat for ages. It looked so beautiful, but would it be too long or too heavy? In the end, I went for it in the sale and I'm so glad I did. Despite its length and volume, the material is wonderfully light so you can casually carry it over your arm, but like a warm, cosy hug as soon as you do up the belt. And at 5ft 7 approx, it is not too long for me. I love the fact that it's made of British wool too. I definitely recommend this beautiful coat.

Absolutely beautiful. Great quality
This is an absolutely beautiful coat. The colours are lovely and it’s a great weight. It is excellent quality and really warm even though it’s not heavy.

This is a great coat. It is very warm and looks really nice. I am only 5'2" and it is very long on me but still above the ankle

Coat for all occasions!
Beautiful quality coat. Lovely long length, very warm. Relaxed but flattering style. Comfortable but classy. The sort of coat one can dress up for a night out at the theatre or wear casually for a walk in the woods.

Usual Jaegar quality. Warm and cosy without being heavy. Size 16 perfect loose fit. Sleeves perfect length. At 5ft 9ins length is on my calves. Beautifully tailored with thoughtful details - extra belt loop on the back keeps the belt in place. May seem expensive but will last years and looks and feels exquisite.

Lovely coat, excellent quality fabric I just wish it was a little longer as I am 5'11 so its just a little shorter than I would like. I'm keeping it though and it is beautifully warm and cosy

British Pure Wool Double Breasted Wrap Coat,
I am delighted with my stylish coat. I had been looking for sometime and this is just what I was after. It is warm, lightweight and I especially like the subtle autumnal tones in the check....

Cost for keeps
Light, warm and well made. There is a blanket/dressing gown vibe so perhaps not for everyone. I think it’s pretty cool though.

Lovely long coat
Yes, I recommend this
I ordered my usual size and one size smaller but kept my usual size, which is slightly loose. The size down was more fitted like on the model. I've been looking for a new winter coat for a few years and this is it. It's warm but not too heavy and the fabric is British and it's made in the EU. I wanted a long coat to keep my rear and legs warm. Most coats are too short. I liked the check 'blanket' coat look which looks great in the countryside where I live. It's worth the full price that I paid.

Absolutely love my new coat, warm, lighter in weight than I expected, considering how warm it is. Great length. I feel like a star when out.

Nice but thin
No, I don't recommend this
While this coat has a nice cut and attractive pattern, the material is quite light. For this price I would expect a more substantial wool and heavier coat. I can't see it being terribly warm despite it being made of wool. For those looking for a light winter coat I can see the attraction.

Beautiful coat tho not a heavyweight wool. I love the subtle tones in the check. The purchaser who got hers in a small box was actually lucky. Mine came in a plastic bag.

Beautiful coat
I took a long time to think about this purchase, being attracted by the classic style, pure wool fabrication, moody colours, check pattern and overall timeless look, but the price and practicality of it needed consideration. So far I haven’t been able to wear it as the weather has been unusually mild, but having tried it on a couple of times I think it is a keeper. I bought size 8 and although not oversized, it allows for winter weight layers underneath. The length is good on me (5 ft 7]. I notice that so often small sizes sell out fast across the range of clothing items which seems to have happened with this coat.
