Quilted Waterproof Mattress Protector

I wanted a waterproof mattress protector read reviews which we’re good, price was excellent ordered and using now, very very pleased with product, also service by m&s excellent

This was a replacement for a well used waterproof mattress protector, also from M and S. The waterproof backing is essential if it's being used on a child's bed, and in my experience the quited top layer eliminates any rustling caused by the plastic underneath. Fair price, especially if it lasts as long as its predecessor.

Excellent well made product which fits perfectly, and looks as if it will last a long time.

Seems to be good quality but 4 stars because the waterproof aspect hasn't been put to the test..and hopegully won't be! Fits the bed well, no rustling or movement. So far, so good.

This 5' mattress protector does work to prevent liquids going through to the mattress, but I found the backing fabric unpleasantly 'slippery' so it slides around when being fitted. I also found it very difficult to spin once washed, and to tumble dry, as it tends to billow into a bag shape with the absorbent side inside so water is retained, a lot of water sometimes, which cannot then be expelled on spinning, or drying. I repeatedly needed to take the cover out to turn it so the absorbent side was exposed for spinning and then the same for drying. I have a similar mattress cover from M&S about 5 years ago, much lighter in weight with a fine terry cloth upper, which is just as absorbent and waterproof as this one, but much easier to fit and launder. Unfortunately that version doesn't appear to be available anymore.

Nice quilting that's not too thick. The water proofing doesn't make it rustle which is great. Very happy with my purchase.

Very nice mattress protector very generous in size for a standard fit does not make any noise either

Top layer ok but unfortunately the sides are flimsy and not strong enough to secure the mattress protector resulting in it moving and wrinkling up by the morning. I have now reverted back to the old one. Disappointed.
