Santal Eau de Toilette 100ml

Took me years to find my favourite scent of sandalwood at M&S. This spray is a mixture of wood and floral base, light yet exotic and not over powering. Great for the summer. It comes in a simple 100 mls glass bottle with a sun imprinted base in an expensively designed box. Amazing value for the quality. I ordered these two bottles on line as they are not always in the shops. I don't agree with recommending scents, I feel that they are very personal things. Though I have been asked what scent I had on as it smelt gorgeous on me.

Second choice when not using Patchouli Fragonard. A more floral perfume, and a lovely fresh spritz !!

I've stopped buying super expensive designer perfumes and switched to a few bottles of Fragonnard from M&S instead. Santal is my absolute favourite and I'm about to purchase my 3rd bottle. It works as a day or evening scent and I get lots of compliments and "What is that smell?", (as a positive , not as a "Phew, what a pong"), If you do like Santal I would recommend giving Cedre a try. Both are very sulltry but soft and quite long lasting. They are only available as eau de toilette so don't exepct the same scent longevity as a parfum. However, this one does hold it's own for the majority of a working day and definitely a night out. Given this as gifts to quite a few friends who all fell in love with it. I know they weren't telling porkies as I can often smell it on them.

If you love sandalwood you MUST buy this. It smells just like a more well-known sandalwood perfume but at a third of the price and smells as unambiguously of the main protagonist. Most perfumes claim to be based on sandalwood but only really have a hint of it. Sometimes you can't smell it at all. Not so here! It's a great unisex perfume too. Longevity is good as far as EDT perfumes go: it started to fade after six hours. Great scent, great value. So pleased M&S sell this. Please continue!

I love this fragrance as my everyday go to... it's lovely and strong when you first apply it, and for a few hours. I would say you need a top spritz in the afternoon, as after an 8hr day I was unable to smell the fragrance on my skin.

sadly really disappointed ,love sandalwood but this scent only lasts a REALLY short time ! would not recommend.

I just love this scent. It has now become my signature perfume. Its an all day all/ night scent which is good for everyday as it is affordable but still indulgent.

This is a lovely sandalwood fragrance which, for me, tends to linger longer on my clothes, if not so much on the skin (which is fine for me.) It's a great everyday perfume and can be layered over others.

This is a hauntingly soft and sweet fragrance with a hint of gentle musk. After the top notes have evaporated it leaves a beautiful true sandalwood scent that is long lasting. I have this along with the patchouli EDT and I adore them both.

Absolutely love this subtle clean scent. Staying power not too great, but saying that, it never smells 'stale'.

I love this fragrance range - I first tried it on a visit to the Fragonard perfumery in the south of France several years ago - and was delighted to discover M&S now stock it! I recently bought Santal, after spritzing it every single time I was in M&S for months! I love it! It's great for day or evening, it's long lasting, a perfect winter fragrance...and every bit as good as the more expensive designer brands. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed! Oh, and please M&S could you stock more bath and body products from Fragonard??!

This fragrance is a delight to wear, light not over powering and goes along way, still hangs around a long time after the first wee shosh.
