Sequin Embellished Tunic Dress

This was one of the most uncomfortable dresses I've ever tried on. The body was nicely lined, but the sequins in the arms were so rough I didn't even keep it on long enough to do up the zip. I was so disappointed as it looked great. The lining felt nice in the body but the arms were horrific.

This looked nice enough at the front but: 1.Was rather difficult to get into and zip up plus the catch at the neck was impossible 2 The sequins lock together under your arms so that Christmas Day was spent freeing myself so I could move my arms.. My sister had to cut me free at one point. 3. The zip at the back is ugly since the zip material is on display and the zip is not set into the dress in a conventional manner. 4. A solution would be to cut the sleeves to make them short.

Bought this for Xmas day and it was really comfortable. Excellent value as it was half price.

Purchased this dress in 50 % off party wear. Ready for new years eve. Perfect fit , size 12 R true to size. Not sure how it will be on the night. Read previous comments about falling sequins.

This dress doesn't look so good on a hanger but when you wear it, it looks absolutely fabulous! Definitely better on that off! The fabric moves and flows with you and is very flattering. Highly recommended!

I loved this dress when I wore it to my Christmas party and got lots of compliments. However, this quickly turned to disappointment when the sequins on the sleeves kept attaching to the sequins on the dress and pulling threads. This resulted in bare patches on the sleeves where the sequins had come off. I was looking forward to wearing this dress on New Years Eve but I can't now. Soooo disappointed.

Love this dress. Very flattering everyone kept commenting on how nice it look and I felt very classy in it. I'm 5ft 4inc and ordered the tall as I felt length would be better for my age. It came to my knees which was perfect.

I wanted a red dress for New Years Eve, but I wanted something that wasn't too classic and also covered a few lumps and bumps. It's very difficult being 40 something and wanting a trendy fashionable dress but one that suits your body shape! This dress certainly ticks all the boxes and was also half price in the sale which was a bargain, The shift shape is ideal for Apple shapes like me, but is also good for showing a bit of leg but not too much. The dress is lined and good quality. A great party dress. Thanks M+S!

The colour and fabric of this dress is perfect for the party season. A nice red currant so not too bright and the sequins have just enough sparkle to not be garish. The shape and style however left a lot to be desired. It is baggy and shapeless which meant that, as I have a large bust, the neckline sagged. It just didn't fit anywhere.

If I had tried this dress on whilst wearing tights I wouldn't have bought it. The sequins on the inside of the hem rubbed against my legs and ruined my tights. No-one else has commented on this so is this the only dress with a short underslip?

Great dress standard length just on knee and size 12 perfect for me and I am size 10/12. Zip down back not cheap looking - 3/4 sleeve perfect and colour really nice

The colour goes well with my grey/white hair and is not garish(as some reds can be) Although the style is basically a "shift" the line is smooth & with the length just on the knee(I bought regular length and am just under 5ft 4". You just don't have to worry about not showing off your waist (& I've got an hour-glass figure!) I've noticed that with shift/tunic styles, you need to go down a size. It feels very comfortable on & the sleeve length will make it very adaptable. I'm looking forward to wearing it for several "Xmas" events & think it will come in useful at other times of the year too. Buying it with money off was what made me decide to send for it (as it is an extra dress for me) Don't think I would have sent for it at full price!
