Tassel Midi Column Skirt

This is such a beautiful classy skirt. Its one of those timeless pieces that will never go out of fashion. However, i did find it pricey for the type of material it was made from. And unfortunately becos of the type of material it was made from, the diamonte detail kept nicking into the material thus causing the it to fray. And some of the dimonante detail that was sewn to the skirt had come away so there was lots of long bits of threads showing and holes in the material from where it had been sewn together. I had to return mine and reorder it again. I hvent worn it yet but i envisage the diamonte detail either sticking to someone whilst either dancing or walking pass someone or sticking to the chair that i sit on. Therefore in my opinion this skirt is not practical but nonetheless beautiful. It comes with a matching top that has diamonte detail on it too, i found that was pricey also 4 wht it was, not practical for those winter nights as its sleeveless and resembles a tank top, which isnt really complimentary of such a beautiful skirt. They cud have put more thought into the design of the matching top to the skirt, esp for that price.

This skirt is beautifully made, very good quality and super stylish, I don’t wear skirts but I couldn’t resist this one, I’m a bit nervous about wearing it and all the diamanté tassels coming away so I’ll have to be careful with it, but it is so gorgeous it has to be in my wardrobe.

I've been pushed for a review on this skirt. It looks great, that's why I bought it for my Wife for Christmas. So it's not been worn yet. Hopefully she'll like it.

Bought this skirt today for Xmas parties and upcoming cruise. It’s really beautiful and unusual. I did buy a size bigger as I preferred the way it hung away from the figure. I’m sure this will be one of my favourites for years to come. Well done M&S you are now back to where you used to be in the styling stakes.
