Textured Elasticated Waist Wide Leg Trousers

Bought for spring wedding - love them. Fit perfectly and look good on.

I saw these in store and was attracted to the white waffle texture. I love the texture. They will be easy summer trousers for holiday, lounging around. They should wash easily and drip dry overnight in the shower if away from home. Dashing through Cribbs Causeway store I looked at the 12 petite and could see the size looked similar to a pair of wide leg trousers I bought in a boutique last week, but at 4 times the cost. No time to try them on so took a risk. I was so pleased that they were a perfect length and waist fit when I tried them on at home. Very comfortable. I am 5’1”, 118 lbs, and buy size 12 trousers though often have to shorten them. The length was fine in the petite for me. I will not need to shorten these. The fit is good. They are lightweight and I may add a lightweight lining taken from an old white pair I am about to dispose of soon.

Too long in the leg in short. Much longer than short usually is in M&S trousers. This means a trip back to store for refund or exchange. Such a shame as I thought they’re ideal lightweight holiday trousers. The fabric is fine.

I actually really liked these trousers Comfy and casual Was really pleased to see extra short available since all M&S trousers are too long for me now at 5ft 3in Ordered 2 pairs but extremely disappointed when they arrived as they were too long Measured the inside leg and both pairs were 29 inch Not sure how they can be described as extra short Another return

Style is lovely, as was the fit, however how anyone could use this fabric for trousers is beyond me. They looked like thick net curtains, so much static in them they clung to me legs, just awful and looked horrific.
