Works and is perfect for only myself drinking. Reason i didnt give it 5* is that i have another very similar but is made from Glass and Stainless Steel. That one gets the extra due to style and material.

I bought this cafetière, for when there is only I, want a good cup of coffee. It is the perfect size to fill one MUG of coffee. Basic. functional, does the job. the quality is good. The price even better. Win, win situation. I also bought the larger size cafetière for when my neighbour and I have coffee every morning. Just perfect.

The glass does not remove from this and the plunger is not effective at holding back the coffee grains so I am very disappointed with this.

This is NOT a 3 cup Cafetiere at all. I have a one cup one already and saw this so I could share coffee with friends etc. But when I unpacked it, it was the same size !! Nevermind. One star for quality I guess. But false advertising. See the photo for yourself ! M&S one on the left. ONE CUP!
