I bought these to replace an identical pair which were showing their age after years of wear. They are smart, comfortable and practical n with good soles. They're substantial but not clumpy. Very pleased.

Comfortable- I’ve bought before, but you lost one star for downgrading the trimming as it makes the boots look cheaper. Did you have to do this to save a few centimetres of leather.

I have these boots already from previous winters in both black and brown but this year the boots are made from a much harder leather. The buckle area rubbed my ankle bone quite badly while wearing them so sadly I returned to store.

Nice boots; nice soft leather. They are really really wide though. Will definitely have to wear thick socks.
