Wide Fit Leather Riptape Shoes

Bought for my elderly dad. Perfect fit and great colour and comfort. Bought a size bigger....not because they come up small, just for ease for us to get them on.

I’ve been buying this type of shoe from M&S for a long time and have always bought another pair when they wear out as I’ve been so happy with them. However, whilst these look similar to my previous pairs, something for the worse has happened to the soles! They don’t mention “Airflex” on the shoe, but “Soft Flex Technology”. These are far too soft and you feel absolutely everything as you walk - small stones, twigs etc, are felt so clearly you know exactly what you’ve walked over. Previous version have had lovely soft cushioning soles which make it feel as if you’re walking on a carpet. Maybe I’ve just got a faulty pair, but if this is a sign of things to come, I’ll seriously be considering other options when these wear out.

It’s always hard to get comfy shoes for my husband. At 81 he needs an easy fit and these are perfect.

This is a great pair of shoes. I purchased it as a duplicate for what is a second pair of similar shoes - the first pair having worn out after several years .

Easy to wear. Great fit for elderly gent with mobility issues.

Good quality leather and quite stylish for this type of shoe. Bought for my husband who is disabled. He is able and to fasten them easily and said they were very comfortable, although we did have to go up a half size

Perfect for me, arthritis makes tying laces very difficult. Really comfortable.

The shoes were a reasonable competitive price , and I have found them a perfect fit for my wide feet. My age is 82 and I am 5’ 7”. The only concern is in wet weather they do not stand up’,after several soakings and start to lose there shape.
