Looks a lovely gift and I’m looking forward to filling it with gifts as a present for someone. My only concern is the handles have the reed weave on them and it looks like it can easily undo. I guess time will tell. Looks authentic, old time picnic basket for a small picnic with wine or a bottle of something and room for glasses too

Bought this as a sewing basket - the linings and lids are perfect to keep my work dust-free and the open compartments are good for scissors, phone etc. Only gripe is the handles - not very comfortable to hold (which is ok for a sewing basket, but wouldn’t be great carrying for a picnic any distance.
