This really is a great bowl, yes it’s square and is simplicity and elegant boneless. Very useful for many a dish you cook.

Good looking and versatile!
I really like these square dishes - they are so useful for a multitude of meals from pasta and curries to fish and salad - and they make any meal look appetising. They are a little fragile however, but that I have found is true of all the Maxim range, breaking or chipping at the slightest tap in the wrong place from time to time. I’ve replaced any number of these square pasta dishes, llatte mugs as well as the larger plates ( which don’t get the use the side plates do) but perhaps I’ve been unlucky - or heavy handed. Whatever - it hasn’t put me off acquiring many pieces and enjoying mixing and matching these good looking white range with some more exotic colourful tableware, which is very satisfying!

Not exactly square?
I bought this to go with some we bought last year. Unfortunately this one is not actually square - a couple of the sides are bowed slightly outwards. It may be an imperfect batch, so I suggest you check carefully before taking it home.

I love the design of this lovely quality dinner service and pasta bowls. Make presenting food easy and desirable. Shame some items were damaged by Hermes in delivery, but M&S provided excellent replacement service with absolutely no quibble. It is worth mentioning that the items delivered to store for collection were I damaged!
